What a weekend the sun was shining as Hels and I headed to the NEC for the Autumn Fayre. What a day, the show was amazing with everything from exciting new fabrics, cushions and throws, to amazing lighting to brighten up any room on a cold autumn evening. Hels was particularly impressed and taken by the vivid flock covered dogs and other things on the McGowan & Rutherford stand. I must admit I liked them as well, but I’m never going to admit it to her.
Whilst we where at the show we were able to listen to several interviews given by Britains top interior designers. One which was very exciting the flamboyant Paul Moneypenny from the Interior Design Master 2021 showcasing his soft furnishing range and giving an interesting talk. We fully agree with his recent article, Let’s Banish the Grey.
