Harry Becks London Underground Map
What a fantastic piece of graphical communication. I love how he used simple lines and colours to represent the underground routes. Ignoring geographical scale, he used his electrical engineering background to simplify a complex system. Taking inspiration from classic pieces of design can transform a room. I love how one wall has been used as a canvas to display the map.
